About the role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently, and a commitment to performing all installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings.

 Responsibilities

• Inspecting and Testing: Regularly inspect and test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve malfunctions in HVAC systems efficiently.
• Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC systems.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Equipment Work: Work with a wide range of HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air handlers, pumps, water source heat pumps.
• Communication: Interact with clients to explain repairs, maintenance requirements, and system operation.
• Administration: Document all work performed and provide detailed service reports to clients.

About the role

Our team is looking to add a skilled and reliable Commercial Service Plumber. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial environments such as office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting and Testing: Regularly inspect and test plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and waste disposal.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot any malfunctions in plumbing systems.
• Installation: Install new plumbing systems according to design specifications, including pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty parts in plumbing systems, such as broken pipes, clogged drains, and leaking fixtures.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will lead the estimating process for commercial mechanical and plumbing projects, reviewing plans, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate and competitive estimates and proposals.

The Senior Estimator will work closely with the Chief Estimator, management, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and project teams to develop successful project proposals, identify project costs and scope requirements, and ensure estimates are complete, accurate, and competitive. This position will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators while supporting the continued development of effective estimating practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating process for commercial mechanical and plumbing projects from initial review through final estimate and proposal.
• Review plans, specifications, drawings, and other project documents to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
• Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs using estimating software and other industry tools.
• Analyze project scope and specifications to identify cost requirements, scope gaps, and potential risks.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors to support competitive and accurate estimates.
• Collaborate with management, operations, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to develop successful project proposals.
• Prepare bid summaries, estimates, and supporting documentation for project review.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior estimators.
• Maintain knowledge of material pricing, construction methods, and market conditions to support competitive bidding.
• Assist with estimating-related questions, change orders, and post-bid activities as needed.
• Maintain accuracy, organization, and consistency across estimating documentation and processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in commercial mechanical and plumbing construction estimating.
• Proficiency with estimating software and electronic takeoff tools.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documents.
• Knowledge of commercial mechanical and plumbing construction methods, materials, and costs.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.

This role provides day-to-day leadership, coordinates with the jobsite Superintendent and other trades, and works closely with the Project Manager to keep work safe, productive, and on schedule.

• Oversee and coordinate multiple sheet metal crews on commercial project sites.
• Provide direction and leadership to Journeymen, Mid-Level Journeymen, and Helpers.
• Coordinate sheet metal activities with the jobsite Superintendent and other trades.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Monitor daily progress and communicate project needs, challenges, and updates to the Project Manager.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, quality, and productivity among field crews.

• Commercial sheet metal experience with demonstrated crew leadership.

MIINC Mechanical is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Journeymen to support our commercial HVAC construction projects. This position may be filled at the Journeyman I or Journeyman II level, depending on the candidate's experience, technical skills, and demonstrated proficiency.

The role offers an opportunity to contribute at the level that best matches your current skills while continuing to develop within the trade.

 Responsibilities

Journeyman I

• Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to support field installation.
• Install commercial ductwork from shop drawings with minimal supervision.
• Assist with material staging, preparation, and installation.
• Work effectively with Helpers and other members of the sheet metal crew.
• Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards on the jobsite.
• Communicate field issues or material needs to the Foreman.

Journeyman II

• Perform all Journeyman I responsibilities.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications for more complex installations.
• Provide duct layout and coordinate installation activities in the field.
• Provide leadership and direction to Journeyman I, Helpers, and other crew members.
• Coordinate material needs, duct orders, and cut tickets as necessary.
• Identify field conflicts and work with the Foreman and other trades to resolve issues.
• Support the Foreman with field coordination, productivity, and project execution.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and schedule requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Commercial sheet metal experience.
• Strong understanding of sheet metal installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field crew.
• Leadership and field coordination experience preferred for Journeyman II.
